This project investigates how changes in precipitation patterns affect plant-soil interactions and ecosystem stability. By studying microbial communities and nutrient cycling, the research aims to understand the implications of climate change on soil health and productivity.
Increased frequency and intensity of extreme climatic events are predicted in Europe, including severe droughts and intense precipitation events.
