The STABL project is developing SMART BATTERY, a technology that enhances the management and longevity of battery energy storage systems. This innovation aims to reduce waste and improve efficiency, supporting the transition to renewable energy sources.
The EU has targeted renewable energy shares of 32% and a 50% reduction in GHG emissions by 2030 which has to lead to an exponential growth in the demand for battery energy storage systems (BESS).
