The project aims to enhance the preservation of endangered languages and cultures by expanding digital archives and fostering a network for cross-linguistic research. It seeks to engage researchers, schools, and the public in utilizing these resources.
Due to globalization and an enormous technological innovation cultures and languages are subject to extreme changes and many of them will become extinct in the coming decades and with them much knowledge about nature and history.
