The InnovEOX project aims to enhance electrochemical wastewater treatment methods to effectively degrade hazardous organic pollutants in freshwater systems. It focuses on training researchers to innovate in this field, improving environmental quality and public health.
Although the European freshwater system is monitored closely by different European frameworks, it has been demonstrated that organic chemical pollutants are still putting half of it at risk.
