InRatio aims to enhance the role of philosophy in democratic societies by addressing misconceptions about its value and promoting its relevance in education and social discourse. The project focuses on developing inclusive philosophical methods and improving communication between philosophy and the public.
In a global climate of populist policies fuelled by hate speech, gender discrimination, and the defunding of the humanities, InRatio aims to strengthen philosophys role within contemporary democratic societies.
Its educational impact directly addresses the H2020 programme Societal Challenge of creating more inclusive, innovative and reflective communities.
