The InteCue project investigates how tomato plants integrate signals from herbivore-induced volatiles and peptides to enhance their defense mechanisms against pests. This research aims to uncover molecular processes that could lead to the development of pest-resistant crops.
Plants are often exposed to infestation by insect herbivores.
