INTERACT focuses on improving CO2 separation from flue gases to enhance sustainable power generation from fossil fuels. The project explores innovative materials and processes to reduce capture costs and environmental impact while integrating new technologies for efficient gas separation.
A major task addressed in the Strategic Energy Technology Plan of the EU is the sustainable power generation from fossil fuels. A crucial step here is the separation of CO2 from flue gas. INTERACT investigates the scientific and technological basis of radically innovative materials and processes.
