This project aims to identify how plant viruses interact with host factors to evade plant defenses. By utilizing advanced sequencing and mass spectrometry techniques, it seeks to map viral protein interactions and enhance our understanding of plant immunity.
Plant (+)strand RNA viruses account for important losses in crop yields worldwide.
They complete complex infectious cycles by replicating, moving and inactivating plant defense mechanisms through multiple interactions of their RNA or proteins with host factors.
