INTERBONE is an international research network studying the skeleton's role in health, focusing on energy metabolism, leukemia, and fracture repair. It promotes collaboration among institutions across several countries to enhance understanding and treatment strategies in these areas.
It is now clear that there are multiple regulatory pathways that orchestrate the interplay between the skeleton and other organs to maintain the correct homeostasis of the body.
