This project investigates the interactions within a polaronic gas, particularly in spin imbalanced Fermi gases. It aims to understand the scattering properties and many-body dynamics of polarons, which are quasi-particles formed in such systems.
In this application, we propose to study the physics of the polaronic gas.
In a spin imbalanced Fermi gas, that is with a larger number of spin up particles than with spin down, the usual Cooper pairing scenario no longer applies, and this raises the question of the possible phases of the system.
