Intersectional Exile is a project that investigates the identity formation of Irish-Iberian exiles during the early modern period. By researching and translating historical documents, the project aims to shed light on the experiences of these communities and their multilingual writings amidst cultural oppression.
This public and digital humanities project will carry out cutting-edge research on identity formation at the dawn of the modern nation state.
