This project employs interferometric scattering microscopy to study the behavior of nanoparticles at fluid interfaces. It aims to explore their dynamics, which are crucial for applications in emulsification, optical devices, and catalysis, while addressing unanswered questions about adsorption and inertial effects.
We propose to apply a cutting-edge optical microscopy based on interferometric scattering microscopy (iSCAT) to directly study the dynamics of the fundamental system of nanoparticles at fluid interfaces.
