This project focuses on developing surfaces that resist ice formation by understanding the physics of water interactions at the nanoscale. It aims to create new materials with intrinsic ice-repelling properties for various applications.
Icing of surfaces is common in nature and technology, affecting everyday life and often causing catastrophic events.
