This project investigates how intrinsic receptors within macromolecular complexes help maintain cellular quality control by regulating the degradation of dysfunctional complexes through selective autophagy. It aims to uncover the mechanisms of these receptors and their role in age-related diseases.
Macromolecular complexes (MC) are cellular machines that perform a wide array of vital tasks.
