The IoBee project aims to combat declining bee populations by developing an Internet of Things (IoT) sensor system for monitoring bee colonies. This technology will help beekeepers detect threats to their hives more accurately and promptly, enhancing pollination services critical for food production.
For the past 15 years, European beekeepers have been reporting weakening bee numbers and colony losses.
