This project aims to create image processing algorithms that enhance the viewing experience of movies, aligning the colors and details seen on screen with those captured during filming. It leverages insights from visual neuroscience to improve video quality using standard cameras.
The objective is to develop image processing algorithms for cinema that allow people watching a movie on a screen to see the same details and colors as people at the shooting location can.
