EMTECH's iReact is a smart-grid solution that optimizes energy distribution by automating reactive load compensation in substations. The upcoming iReact 2.0 aims to enhance operational efficiency across distribution grids using real-time data and simulations.
Apart from presenting major benefits, the increase of RES installations in the electricity grid brings certain technological challenges, such as power supply and demand imbalance, and voltage instability, which in certain cases, drives to poor delivered electricity product.
