This project integrates Computer Aided Design and Numerical Analysis through Isogeometric Analysis and meshless approximants. It aims to develop a design-through-analysis methodology applicable to complex industrial problems, enhancing efficiency in engineering design.
Although from an historical point of view Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Numerical Analysis have always been two detached engineering disciplines, a lot of effort has been made over the last few years to seek a tighter integration between them.
