This project examines the reception of Irish literature in Italy during the early 20th century, focusing on translation and cultural mediation during the fascist era. It analyzes how Irish literary works were introduced into Italian culture and the recognition of their uniqueness within Anglo-American literature.
This research project aims to investigate crucial aspects of the reception of Irish literature in Italy during the first fifty years of the twentieth century, with special attention to the politics of translation and mediation in the fascist era.
