KOMODOH investigates the relationships between herbivorous insects and Pedunculate oak trees to understand biodiversity and ecosystem functioning. The project examines how tree characteristics and ecological factors influence insect communities and their impact on tree health.
The trophic relationships between plants and herbivorous insects comprise one of the ecologically and economically most relevant biotic interactions worldwide.
