The phi-SCAT project aims to commercialize a novel imaging technology for label-free visualization of biological structures. It focuses on integrating this technology into existing products and licensing it for broader applications in research.
We will launch phi-SCAT, a novel imaging technology, which uniquely allows for label-free imaging of biological structures of interest.
We will do this by productizing the interferometric scattering technology that was invented in course of the Chromavision FET-OPEN project.
Proof-of-concept data has been obtained in the FET-OPEN project, and proved the technology’s value, complementary to existing imaging methods that are either low contrast or depend on fluorescent labels.
