This project investigates how lipid uptake by cancer cells influences their behavior, focusing on melanoma. It explores the role of oleic acid in activating a key signaling pathway and aims to understand the metabolic and biological consequences of this process on cancer cell phenotypes.
Tumors contain multiple subpopulations of cells some of which may contribute to therapeutic resistance.
