The project proposes a novel imaging tool, Infra Red Nanoscope, to enhance the resolution of infrared microscopy for better understanding of diseases like Alzheimer's and lung cancer. It aims to improve imaging capabilities for both biological research and industrial applications.
Every year, Alzheimer's disease (AD) affects about 800,000 new patients in Europe and directly causes 50% of dependency of aged persons.
