This project aims to explore the mechanisms of memory consolidation in the brain, particularly in relation to dementia. By using advanced neural recording techniques in animal models, it seeks to uncover the dynamics of brain networks involved in memory, potentially leading to new treatments for dementia.
Dementia is a major healthcare challenge worldwide due to its high incidence and its strong impact on the life quality of patients and on society as a whole.
