The EcoGrid EU project aims to enhance the efficiency of a power distribution system on Bornholm, Denmark, by integrating renewable energy sources. It focuses on enabling small electricity consumers to participate in real-time energy markets, utilizing smart devices for demand response based on price signals.
The key objective of the EcoGrid EU project is to demonstrate efficient operation of a distribution power system with high penetration of many and variable renewable energy resources.
