This project focuses on studying the gaseous structures of peptides and proteins using advanced mass spectrometry techniques. It aims to enhance our understanding of protein folding, aggregation, and misfolding, particularly in relation to tau proteins, by combining ion mobility and optical spectroscopy.
The motivations for studying the gaseous structures of peptides and proteins range from developing efficient methodologies for protein identification and quantification to fundamental understanding of folding processes and biomolecular architectures.
