LATECO addresses the challenges of multilingual education by examining language teachers' collaboration across subjects. The project aims to improve teaching practices and student experiences in language learning through professional development and shared strategies.
The European Union advocates learning multiple languages in school as a cornerstone for addressing challenges and opportunities of increased linguistic and cultural diversity in Europe.
However, teachers often struggle to adopt multilingual approaches, and effective collaboration across language subjects is scarce.
