The project focuses on improving cancer treatment through targeted delivery of drugs using low molecular weight ligands. By investigating BMX ligands for prostate cancer, the research aims to enhance drug efficacy while minimizing damage to healthy tissues.
Standard of care strategies for the treatment of cancer still relies heavily on non-specific radiation and chemotherapy.
