LEADERSHIP aims to enhance collaboration in information and communication technology (ICT) between Latin America and Europe. It establishes a permanent expert group to support policy dialogues and capacity-building events, focusing on innovation and research priorities in the region.
Policy dialogue in science, technology and innovation has become an important vehicle for Latin America participation in EU-FP7 and ICT is currently in the bilateral and bi-regional political agendas.
