This project investigates the role of human capital investments in facilitating the retirement transitions of older workers. By comparing Poland and the Netherlands, it aims to provide evidence-based recommendations for enhancing employability and opportunities for extended employment among older individuals.
European and national ageing policies give high priority to increasing retirement age and employability of older people, but no effective solution exists.
The project aims to provide practical recommendations based on evidence on the role of human capital investments (at individual and company level) for retirement transitions.
