The CENTRAL ASIAN LAW project investigates the interplay between legal cultures and business practices in Central Asia. It aims to enhance understanding of local governance and ethics, providing insights for businesses and policymakers to improve the investment climate in the region.
Over the last two decades, economic relations between the EU and the five post-Soviet Central Asian republics (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan) have evolved around two parallel and contradictory patterns.
