This project focuses on understanding the health impacts of population ageing and chronic diseases in low-income countries. It aims to develop interventions that improve health outcomes for older adults by analyzing trends and inequalities in health expectancies.
Population ageing and the transition from infectious to chronic diseases is occurring more rapidly in middle than it did in high income countries.
