This project investigates reading skill development in children with reading difficulties across different writing systems, specifically in Europe and China. It aims to identify at-risk children and develop preventive technologies to enhance their reading abilities.
The goal of this collaboration is to compare and try to affect the development of reading skill among compromised readers in alphabetic and semanto-phonetic writing environments represented by European and Chinese orthographies, respectively.
