This project investigates the early history of European languages by analyzing low-frequency linguistic variations. It aims to uncover patterns in historical texts that can provide insights into the interactions of different cultural and linguistic groups in early England.
We know remarkably little about the early history that formed the known European languages and cultures.
While advances in genetics have led to new debates about population histories, they cannot tell us about the languages spoken.
