The LiWeFor project aims to create a global network of Living Labs focused on wetland forest research, education, and management. It involves joint field campaigns in tropical regions to enhance knowledge transfer and develop carbon and nutrient management strategies while promoting science-related careers in Estonia.
The main aim of the LiWeFor is to establish and develop a global network of Living Labs of wetland forest research, education and management.
The project team consists of the University of Helsinki and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology as top-class research counterparts and the University of Tartu as the recipient.
