Locate IT is a proposed asset tracking system for Internet of Things devices, utilizing a novel method for accurate indoor and outdoor positioning. It aims to overcome limitations of existing tracking solutions by providing precise location data, including floor level.
This is a proposal for a feasibility study of Locate IT, a new innovative asset tracking system for Internet of Things (IoT) devices.
The main advantage of Locate IT is that it will use a new breakthrough method to position a huge number of devices anywhere, both outdoor and indoor, within a few meters including correct floor.
Today there is no positioning solution that can track a device accurately everywhere. GPS is often used for asset tracking but does not work indoor.
