LOMUS develops an innovative method using Calabrian sounding objects to enable non-trained individuals to participate in music-making. By combining ethnomusicology and contemporary music practices, it aims to democratize music creation and reshape community musicality, fostering social inclusion and identity.
Participation in music-making has shown to produce cognitive and behavioural benefits, enhance social participation, and contribute to shaping both individual and collective identity.
