LOTIS examines the relationship between places and loneliness, proposing a dynamic framework that links subjective perceptions of locations with individual mobility patterns. The project aims to develop a comprehensive understanding of how environments influence feelings of loneliness over time.
The places where people live and spend their time seem to matter for loneliness, but previous research provides mixed evidence for this link.
