This project investigates two-dimensional materials like molybdenum disulfide, which have an intrinsic band gap, to enhance electronic properties. It focuses on understanding how external factors like strain can modulate these properties, aiming to unlock new applications in electronics.
The isolation of graphene in 2004 has triggered the most promising expectations in the field of condensed matter.
