This project aims to revolutionize cancer treatment by developing non-toxic laser systems that allow real-time monitoring of tissue during therapy. The technology seeks to provide an effective alternative to traditional chemotherapy and radiation, reducing side effects and costs for patients.
Our aim with this proposal is to bring the desired technology for a non-toxic, efficient and cost-effective cancer treatment.
Basically, all cytotoxic drugs (chemotherapy) and radiation lead to apoptosis, the programmed cell death of tumor cells.
These techniques on the other hand have well documented side effects like losing hair, teeth, damaged quality of life effecting lives of more than 14M cancer patients and their families worldwide.
