The MacroPiN project focuses on developing energy-efficient photopolymerization techniques using tailored photoinitiators derived from porous organic polymers. This approach aims to enhance sustainability in polymer production by utilizing light-driven processes.
Converting high energy consuming reaction techniques to energy efficient methods is probably the main interest of modern society, not only for economic reasons but also to avoid extended green-house gas release.
