The MAFE project investigates African migration to Europe by creating a comprehensive dataset and analyzing migration patterns. It aims to provide insights that will inform better migration policies, recognizing the complexity of migration flows, including return and circular migration.
African migration has become a major concern for European policy makers.
New policy measures are under development, but they rely on a poor understanding of the underlying causes and consequences of African migration.
The MAFE project aims to overcome this lack of understanding, in order to improve the quality of migration policies.
