This project focuses on developing a new type of transparent ceramic material, Mag-Spin, for watch crystals and cases. It aims to enhance durability and scratch resistance while allowing for customization in design and transparency, addressing the needs of high-end watch consumers.
Watch companies over the last century have continuously experimented with watch materials: from precious metals to simple plastics, watches can be made out of almost anything.
Consumers’ expectation from a watch is now not only just for timekeeping but also for their craftsmanship, appeal and design.
