This project develops a portable diagnostic device to simultaneously test for HIV, Viral Hepatitis, and Syphilis, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa. It aims to improve maternal health by facilitating early detection and treatment, thereby reducing mother-to-child transmission of these infections.
By essence, diagnostic procedures intend to look for a certain panel of pathologies according to the risk factors or the symptoms of the patients to prevent further contaminations.
