The MagicTin project aims to utilize an advanced active target detector to study nuclear shell evolution in neutron-rich isotopes. It will enhance understanding of nuclear forces and facilitate experiments with low-intensity exotic beams.
The MagicTin proposal aims at the use of a new generation active target detector (ACTAR) to study the shell evolution in exotic Sn isotopes.
