MaGMa explores the interplay between material culture, daily life, and gender during early modern colonial globalization. By analyzing historical practices and ideologies, it aims to uncover how these factors shaped societal structures and resistance to globalization across different cultures.
The proposed project will be the first to investigate the intimate connection between material culture, quotidian life, and gender in the making of and resistance to early modern colonial globalization.
