This project investigates how people understand and use spatial information through egocentric and allocentric frames of reference. It employs behavioral and neuroimaging techniques to explore the neural basis of spatial cognition and its implications for everyday tasks and cognitive rehabilitation.
The two years Fellowship project proposes a systematic investigation of the relationship between two basic processes of spatial cognition: egocentric and allocentric frames of reference and categorical and coordinate spatial relations.
