The MAREXPRES project organizes an outdoor event in Athens to enhance public awareness of marine sciences and the role of researchers. By showcasing the applications of ocean exploration, it aims to foster a connection between scientists and the public through interactive presentations and activities.
The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in collaboration with the Hellenic Oceanographers’ Association aim to undertake ‘Marine Exploring Researchers’ (MAREXPRES) on Friday 27th September 2013, in the framework of ‘Researchers’ Night 2013’, under the scope to enhance public recognition of researchers across Europe.
