The project focuses on enhancing the productivity of small and medium-sized shipyards by developing worker-centric, modular, and flexible automation solutions. It aims to integrate collaborative robotics and portable technologies to improve labor-intensive tasks while preserving the skills of the workforce.
EU shipbuilding leading edge relies in the complexity, quality, customization, delivery time and lifecycle services (e.g. in situ maintenance, repair and retrofitting) of the vessels manufactured.
