This project investigates the interaction between genetics and environment to understand how they influence the traits of organisms. By utilizing advanced technologies in phenotyping and mass spectrometry, it aims to enhance our understanding of genetic diversity and improve animal welfare in livestock.
Considerable progress has been made in characterising genomes, allowing comprehensive insights into patterns of genetic diversity in many organisms.
